Aw, the glory days. Back when TM was on the PS1, and I was playing as Axel in the second and fourth games. Really brings back memories. And now, we hear about a new one in the works, and I almost faint from happiness.

Does anyone else miss when Twisted Metal was a fun, lighthearted parody of old grindhouse flicks and not a dark, gritty story about demons duking it out in cars?
Because ever since Twisted Metal Black they really lost the point.

Seriously.
Before Black, the characters were things like Space Cops, Leprechauns, Transvestites, and Garbage Men.

Edit: And a Pizza Guy. Can't forget the Pizza Guy.

I know the focus is on the car action, but stripping away the cutscenes removes the soul of the game.
