I don't know, but I agree. I don't like his new look.
His old look stood out more, now he just looks like any other "everyman" character.

But the first one was fun, and the second also looks fun.

I'm not excited, yet. The only Infamous monsters should be made of garbage, trash, and cans! Anything else had better be explained well in the game...I thought Infamous had some semblance of real world to it. Giant beasts with fleshy tongues belong in zombie games; we'd better have a good explanation of just where this thing comes from

Well, I hope they DO explain why he looks like a complete fag compared to old Cole, and why his voice in the trailer is far different from old Cole, such as the trailer voice was just a guy from the office.

Yeah, that's all fine and good, but I would much rather them just take all that shit out if they would replace this new dickhead looking Cole for the one from the first game.

Seriously, he just looks like any other generic brown haired protagonist.

They went out of their way to make him seem generic I guess. I liked the Cole of old as well =/

OT: I still want to play it at some point but I hope they haven't destroyed the character I grudgingly started to love by the end of the first game.

Once you give a character control over electro-magnetic force you can pretty much give them any power you want, as it is what governs most physical interactions. Off the top of my head I can think of reasonable excuses for; heating, cooling, light, and radiation based abilities, as well as the ability to walk through solid objects, and control chemical reactions. Also I found this article recently which can be used as an excuse.

I had to pick between the original inFamous and Prototype last year and I am glad that I chose inFamous. It is one of the best sand box games that I have ever played. I really am expecting alot from this game. After all, The Beast is being introduced at last, Cole has new ice powers, and the setting has moved to a Naw'lins like city with a jackass that is after Cole for some reason. I'm a big fan of the series (which is why I dressed up as Cole for Halloween last year) and I cannot wait to get this game. My only concern is te change in Cole's voice and appearence.

They keep calling him "Cole" but he sounds and looks different in the trailer. It's like they're pulling a big practical joke on everyone. They're gonna come out and say "Nah, nah, we weren't actually making Infamous 2. PSYCH!"

Please tell me we get that tornado as a power. And I'd never actually seen the Yahtzee challenge pictures, that was hilarious. Those guys at both studios are awesome, considering they even went as far as to take the challenge, lol.

I can't wait for I2. The first one was great and one of my favorite PS3 titles.
