I remember a time when the Metal Gear series was about stealth. All I get from this is Kojima jumping up and down waving his arms and saying "See?! Raiden is awesome!!!!"

not a hot item in the trailer, but it was announced that you could stealth if you choose, or go in and kill everything with impunity. Kind of like with MGS4. Which I prefer to stealth in. Because it's still easier than run-n-gun, despite what everyone says. Seriously, has no one ever heard of the tranquilizer gun?

You all knew this was coming in some form. First one of Snake's war buddies becomes a black cyborg ninja, then Grey Fox becomes THE Cyborg Ninja, then Snake and Olga(dressed up as a red cyborg ninja) train Raiden like a ninja, then he becomes a cyborg ninja himself. Being a central and once-playable character, there's every reason for this title to happen. It HAD to happen. Raiden got too much of a fan following to be allowed second-banana status.

Heh this cutting thing is completely copied from the Afro Samurai game. This isn't a bad thing though, it was awesome in that game, and looks set to be awesome again here.
