This is why I didn't do a top 5 of e3, they are all nintendo games and I don't own a Wii :(

there is nothing coming out for ps3 or xbox which intrigues me.

Why does the Wii need to keep using motion controllers when they aren't necessary/
Not all Wii games use motion controls. Some of them just turn the Remote sideways and just do things old-school style.

So get a Wii, already. It won't hurt, I promise. :)

I was actually quite surprised that the vast majority of games I found interesting at the show were either for Wii or DS. I suppose that's partly just cyclical - there hasn't been much for them I've cared about in recent years - but I was really underwhelmed by a lot of what I saw for the 360 and the PS3 this year.

There was literally nothing on the 360 or ps3 that I want, even NBA Jam is on Wii :S

You know, comparing E3 to Disneyland was accurate in terms of spectacle, but I can go to Disneyland anytime. E3 is more like Disneyland for the gaming press, while the rest watch from the sidelines. I love gaming to death, wouldn't give it up for the world, spend WAY more money on it than I should, but there's a 99.9999% I'll never get to go to gamings biggest show. :(

And I don't blame you for lumping all of Nintendo's games into one, I definitely did the same thing when discussing it with my friends. If I absolutely HAD to pick one though, it would be Metroid. I'm a total Samus Aran fanboy. I'll admit that with no shame.

Speaking of Portal 2 at E3, will there be more coverage of it here on the Escapist?

I got into this industry, in part, so that I could go to E3. Never say never, my friend. :)
