It looks fun but I don't think more gunplay is necessary. 2 had a pretty good balance of horror and gunplay imho. I could do without cheap scares like things jumping down behind me every five seconds and more foreboding horror like weird noises and failing life support systems.
One thing to note from the footage is that there appears to be much more gunplay in comparison to the previous two games, hinting that Dead Space 3 may be leaning a little more towards "action" than "horror" in its gameplay.
Am I the only one wondering why they're sending an engineer (technician... whatever he is) instead of some kind of heavily-trained assault team to do this?
Hmm.... so you're saying that the Dead Space series has graduated from imitating Resident Evil 4 to Resident Evil 5. Excellent job Dead Space at staying a step behind.
