As a respectful and respectable CEO of the biggest videogame company on the planet
Hah, good one.
OT: I still say BF3 is
by far the better game. This is, as everyone's said, Kotick being a dick and trying to throw a twig in the gears. The same gears that, I might add, DICE have been taking out, upgrading entirely, re-polishing, and making sure they fit in the machine every couple of years, whereas IW/Treyarch have been simply giving their gears a shiny new paint job every year, and they were great at first, but haven't truly changed with the times.
Alright, so I got carried away with the metaphor. The point is, MW3 looks good. It looks as good as the past four games have. I might add it looks a tad better. I enjoyed all four of the past four games immensely, as well. By no means will MW3 be bad.
It's just, in comparison with how stunning BF3 looks, MW3 has been shown up entirely. There has been absolutely no word on any upgrades MW3 has compared to it's predecessors, while BF3 is looking ready to break all capable boundaries with Frostbite 2.
A lot of people have said that Call of Duty is the same game every year, and while I'd still disagree, on some levels (Drastically different settings, characters, stories, etc) I can now see entirely where they are coming from (Gameplay, audio, animation, etc). Like I said, a different coat of paint on the same gears.
