I'm glad that EA is finally seeing the light and changing their (ever-hated) game plan. I'm very impressed that EA in 2008 took the time to get 2 new IP's out there, and that even when those IPs turned in disappointing profits, they are still committed to cranking out quality (or so they say).
The ultimate irony would be EA finally doing what the game community wants, and going under soon after.
It's a sad thing. EA start to change their attatude and they're rewarded jack shit. The difference between the sales of ME and DS compared to that of Fifa is pretty disheartening.nathan-dts said:

It's not just the fact that we're in a recession that EA is losing money (although it is a big factor). It's because people are stupid and would rather pay for the same games ever year rather than a new and original game.nilcypher said:
