And, once more, he shouldn't have to make new accounts just to use his game.Veloxe said:Sweet mother of mercy. 5 pages of this and only about 3 or 4 people actually seem to have it right! He can still play DA2 if he feels the need, he hasn't been banned from playing. Hell he can (and from what I understand from posts in this thread, has) made another forum account and keep posting/trolling/whatever the hell he's doing.
This whole thing just smells of troll to me. He broke the rules on their forums (several times if that email screenshot is to be believed) and then got his ass banned from the forums. Then he goes and tries to spread it around that he can't play DA2 anymore (which is a lie) and that the big bad EA is stepping all over his right to play a game he purchased. One guy decides he wants to play the martyr card and get his 15 minutes of fame and everyone is so quick to jump on the bandwagon that they can't tell it's heading off the cliff.
He doesn't have to make a new account to play the game. He can simply play it in offline mode. He broke their terms and they restricted his access to their servers. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. They are their servers, he didn't buy the right to access their servers. He bought the right to play the game, access to the servers was on condition that he followed terms (which he had to agree to if he wanted access to the online extras) and was completely option. He broke those terms and they kick him off their servers.Trolldor said:And, once more, he shouldn't have to make new accounts just to use his game.Veloxe said:Sweet mother of mercy. 5 pages of this and only about 3 or 4 people actually seem to have it right! It doesn't matter how much of an asshole he is.
Or maybe we should get your TV providers to block access to the TV reception at your house if you're a mean nasty man.
You can still use your TV, you just have to go to somebody else's house to do it.
Really? Well there goes the chance that EA/Bioware had of me practically throwing my money at them.strangeotron said:Even on the 360 you can't start the game until it connects to the servers.
That's good to hear. Time to resume the money throwing!Arontala said:Not true. I just disabled my internet on my PS3, popped in the game, and I can still play.
I also have all the DLC I had already downloaded.
