Oh EA you're really outdoing yourselves this week.

Which is totally untrue as multiple people have pointed out that EA didn't do this, it was a fan page. And I did read the thread, all the posts, (its only 2 pages) and I fail to notice anything contracting my statement.

Way to stop reading after the first sentence of a post, there's two pages involved. One official, one (at least ostensibly) not. That's what had me confused.


Edit: Okay, now that I'm home and able to actually see the page, that's definitely a page made by some over excited fan, not a marketing shill. I have an IRL friend who's been known to make pages almost exactly like that for other games.

But no it proves your idea that "EA IS TEH EVULZ" so it must be true.

I honestly don't have time to read through an entire forum thread that I could care less about on a webpage I don't use. I was commenting on the screenshot. Also EA is evil and incompetent. Nothing you ever say will change that. They prove it to me every time they release a game.

Well, aside from the game not having subways, farms, teraforming, single-player, etc and EA disabling game features to try and manage their server load... I'll help everyone in this thread with a list full of legitimate reasons to bash them.

I could argue with you, but that fact that you are post that Sim city thing in a semi unrelated thread, just to try and convince me on the "EA is evil" thing shows it will accomplish nothing, we are both far to entrenched on polar opposite sides of the argument. You will continue to hate EA, I will continue to by EA games because I enjoy a decent number of them, neither of us will say anything the other hasn't heard a dozen times before, neither of us will learn anything, and absolutely nothing will be accomplished.

Okay, even with the knowledge that it's a fanpage, what crazy person would tell the world that this game is worth every penny at this stage in the launch? Unless they've been a fanpage since the 256 colors days (which would predate Facebook), looks like a troll. Or some kind of Stockholm Syndrome thing where they're very eager to be the first to compliment EA whenever they speak. Very interesting...

Having zero exposure to the fans, (who I honestly didn't know existed) I was unaware of this. Its not like I hold SFH as a high standard or anything, its more of a guilty pleasure.

EDIT: gave a quick glance at Cheap Thrills. It looks interesting, and the art is nice and stylish later on, but sadly it looks like it hasn't updated since December of last year
