I noticed something, for some reason EA seems to lower their prices then most game companies. Like MW2 at stores/online is still $60 (most likely due to activison) but ME2 on steam is only $20 and BFBC2 is only $30. I mean I am happy they lower their prices fast but I always wondered why, I mean both games sold over a million copies.

Could this have something to due with project 10-dollar?

Project 10-dollar.

And I don't know to be honest; are you sure you aren't just comparing it to Activision's dipshit pricing?

I quite like them to be honest though - the whole thing about them being Acti's second-in-command as devils in the industry became outdated about 2 years ago.

EA has always done this, and I like to believe that EA is cool, because EA is cool...to me. I've always liked them, and probably always will.

As for the real reason? They make games that almost ALWAYS become best-sellers, and usually, when a game reaches best-seller status, it goes down to 20-30 bucks.

Project 10 dollar and I think it's just good ol' Bobbo (you know, he does remind me of Kelso a bit when you think about it...) milking the donkey for all it's worth.

1 word: Marketing, EA have the financial clout to release a game full price at launch lower the price and know that it will sell well for an extended period of time, oh and why is activision selling MW1 at my game store for £30 seriously What its like 4 years old no-one plays it, and black ops is out in a few weeks.

ppl still play COD4, but yeah it shouldn't be $30, or how ever that much is in US dollar.
