None of these titles interest me.

Well, perhaps Need for Speed, yet they haven't made a decent NFS game since the original Most Wanted in my opinion. So I don't have much Faith there. (Mirror's Edge 2 dammit! We actually want that!)

Oh well, you won't be getting into my wallet's vagina anytime soon.

Uh, EA...don't you do this every bloody year?
Am I missing the significance of this somehow?

You're getting ham wallet confused with actual wallet.

Anyway, this sounds like normal EA: Sequels in franchises that have been, or are in the process of being, run into the ground. And sports games; which are basically the same as last year's versions now anyway, as far as I can tell. I kinda want to hear what Fuse is, but other than that this basically isn't news at all.

So, 8 recycled sports titles, and a few others that are more likely than not to be the same shit as their predecessors.

You're not fooling anyone here, EA.
Took the words right out of my... fingertips?

Anywho, sounds like they're trying to ramp up their sequel production to 1 year dev cycles, instead of the usual 2 year cycle.

Mirrors Edge 2 or a GOOD Need for Speed game. If not, 0 fucks. You're not getting anyone's hopes up EA. Everyones used to it now. I know a good Need for Speed game won't happen again, but still.. A man can hope I guess.. Although if it's releasing 11 games in 11 months.. Yeah, not much hope. At all. Here we go again with pressing deadlines on the developers and shitty, mainstream games. As usual. Fucking hell.

Fuse is a what you get when you suck all the colour, humour and fun out of an original IP called Overstrike.

I'm interested in BF4, but I haven't actually seen anything about the core game yet, just the unnecessary fluff they package with it.

...Not really...

The Original Fuse was something along the lines of TF2 or Austin Powers. Bright, colourful and having its own unique style.

Now its looks like 'Generic Shooter 27b' with some gimmicks.

As for the others...

insert sport franchise here 20XX: Not into updates of American sports and Soccer (that alone kills over half of the announcement)

Need for Speed: Nothing really negative but Carmageddon Reincarnation is going to released within the timeframe as well.

Battlefield: What was once an good war simulator is now a poor mans COD, with ARMA III stepping up to the plate.

Command & Conquer: is going to be P2W bullshit without any singleplayer, besides Planetary Annihilation is also going to be released around the same time.

Fuse: 'Generic Shooter 27b' with some gimmicks.

Unannounced title I am going to assume is Dragon Age 3: Looks at the last 3 Bioware offerings Yeah, I'm going to skip it.

Ea is the perfect example of failure of capitalism. The most hate company in America, the second worst gaming company in the world (in my opinion), generally used as a cuss word in the industry, has reputation for eating and destroying studios, still makes the most profit of them all. because profits are the ONLY thing that matters in capitalism.

Fixed it for ya.

OT: Quick! We need more pictures of Sim City burning down! It's still highly-relevant!

Is it wrong I want to see this blow up in EA's face and watch them fail and eventually die? Yeah, it would suck for the developers that work there and I hope another company will come pick them up, but EA has become something of a tumor in the AAA game industry, an amalgamation of everything that is wrong with the aforementioned. I kinda want Fuse to fail. I want all of the focus group crap that turned it into generic shooter #6,793 to completely backfire and bite them in the ass. I want Fuse to be a complete and utter failure in the hopes that EA finally wakes the hell up and realizes that if they want people to start buying their games, they need to start taking some risks and if they want people to continue buying their games, they need to make the games good. I want the NFL to not bother renewing the exclusivity deal and letting other companies step-up to make a better game so that Madden can completely tank, because I even hear from other sports gamers they're getting a little sick and tired of the Madden series and want something new. I want the SimCity debacle to still be fresh in people's minds and lead to The Sims 4 absolutely failing EA.

Just... go away EA, please. Go away and take your banal, anti-consumerist crap with you.

Fixed ya fix.

OT: How is this news. I would be concerned for EA were they not releasing at least 11 large games considering we're counting 'core' franchises. That said, I hope they enjoy my spending my money elsewhere, not a single mentioned title seems interesting.

Mirror's Edge II* or GTFO

I've got to be honest, if they released a title that was a interesting new IP with a female lead or Mirror's Edge II I might actually look into buying other EA titles again. I'm not sure anything less would make me even think about picking up an EA title.

Hmm, we'll see how they release the games now. All I care about is if their methods have changed after all this nonsense, not how many games they're putting out. For all I know, those are another 11 titles they're about to ruin and pillage their customers' wallets in.

EA is the hotdog stand that sells you a hotdog, makes you pay extra for condiments and then demands that you eat the hotdog in front of them while they watch so they know you're not sharing. They then wonder why you go to other hotdog stands whenever possible.

After reading the article I have a feeling that whatever game I might care about ("Dragon Age III", "Fuse-RIP-Overstrike", "Mirror's Edge" etc) will be terribly rushed.

* will also accept new IP with female lead.
There is a new game, "Remember me", coming out soon, which is a new IP with female lead but I don't know if Capcom is in anyway better choice.

So....... instead of actually making some new and/or innovative games OR doing something to appease those gamers that are disappointed and hate-filled by their actions, EA are just going to make the same games that they are bloody well expected to make anyway and claim they're doing something good?
This sounds exactly like EA normally, how is this news?
I'd be more surprised if they decided they wouldn't be making those games this year.
