EA Server connection to BC2

Has anyone else been getting the message in bad compamy 2 where the game refuses to connect to the ea server? Anyone have any ideas what the story is with this?

Im getting the same thing, cant play online for the past hour or so. Looks like its their servers, hopefully they are up soon.

The game wasn't attracting enough people over their set period, so they axed the server.

Just kidding.

I constantly get kicked by punkbuster for an init error.
