EA Servers

So I tried logging on to play some Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (Just got it, loving it so far) on PC, but a few hours ago I couldn't connect to the EA servers. I just tried again multiple times and it's still not having any of it.

Can anyone tell me if the servers are down for maintainance or some other reason? I doubt it's a computer problem (was working fine earlier today) and I'm rather new to EA Online, so I don't know any of it's routines.

Im on XBox and had a similar problem couple of days ago. Turns out its fixed by resetting the internal clock. Sometimes EA Online seems to take issues with the users - at least on consoles. If theres something similar for PC or if the servers are really down i cant tell. From what I've heard EA servers arent the most reliable ones, so it could be that you just going through a rough spot. I just came from BC2, but maybe in your region theres something going on. Have you googled? Look on the official BC2 site if theres something about maintenance.
