Yeah, it will be a movie with cars called Need for Speed.

And thats where all resemblance to any of the games will end. Isn't that how all game movies work.

Did EA actually play the games? The storyline isn't even corny bad its just bad. Your at the top (insert tits) some asshole takes you down you have to work your way back up, blah, blah, blah... random guy shows up (in his car and NEVER gets out) tells you to "Back off or else" then peels out and away like a douchebag... blah, blah, blah... you fight the guy that took you out, you are superior! (insert tits)
End Game

I hope the entire movie is like the really cheesy FMV cutscenes from the older games.

I always figured the Fast and Furious movies for de facto Need For Speed movies.

Is it just me or do they always pick the games with the worst storylines to adapt into movies. I mean, i could totally see how a prequelmovie to Bioshock could be good, or a movie based on Psychonauts, or, hell, even Mario could be turned into a good movie if they actually tried. But what games do get movie adaptions? Angry Birds. Need for Speed. It doesn't make sense!

Catpcha: howdy partner!
Howdy to you too, Captcha.
You ever see Book of Eli? It's pretty much Fallout the Movie with Lucas Simms as the main character. THAT is how to make a movie based on a game. Even if it wasn't, it shows a lot of resemblance.

Hell, even the titles look the same.

1-Make the races in NFS most wanted movies.
2-stick them together with the cut-scenes.
3-???
4-PROFIT.

Oh, there IS already a NFS movie. It's called Fast and the Furious.

Or you mean the one where a misunderstood lead knows how to drive like a pro and somehow that skill gets him out of trouble all the time?
Because there is one already. It's called The Transporter. Or Drive. Or *Insert a generic-car-related-with-random-hot-chicks film here*.

The only way I see this working is if they used the story of the main character in Most Wanted and Carbon. Those actually seemed to have a "real" story going, so if those were made into a movie, and maybe a movie with Underground 2, cause I think it's the same guy. If they did this well, and actually made it about cars and not a bunch of bullshit, then yeah, I'd say go for it. Just don't botch it or I'll be pissed :3

Captcha: Riff-Raff. Oh god please don't let this possible movie be about a bunch of riff-raff nobody cares about XD

I'll say here what I said on Facebook/Screwattack. I'm not interested in a Need for Speed franchise but if someone can get Micheal Bay to do a Burnout film or, series then that could be pretty great. Even though you know a Bay-Burnout movie would climax with the lead character rolling over every other car with a tank (on a caffeine high, sun-set, yadda-yadda) in what would be the equivalent of car-crash porn...exactly what Burnout my favorite race series to begin with.
Yes. Burnout Revenge is one of my absolute favorite racing games. However, the fact is, Need for Speed is a lot more famous, as it is. Ergo, this would rake in more dough.
