One of the only reasons to get excited about being in the UK?

Yeah, let's get a picture of your face when you saw it was in stock and cheaper than on Steam.

Just spreading the joy.

That deal is rubbish. This deal is far better. [http://savygamer.co.uk/2010/10/10/fallout-new-vegas-fallout-3-goatee-edition-pc-29-10/] You'll miss out on the pre-order DLC, but that'll be modded in within a week.

Everything is more expensive on digital distribution services (except some GOGs) unless they are having a sale.
Fix'd for more generality with increased truth content. (And by "some GOGs", good luck finding Blood for less than $6.)

I'll do the same thing I did with Fallout 3, which I loved, I will wait to buy it later down the line. Maybe then, some bugs will be ironed out and it'll be ever so slightly cheaper.

I'll be picking it up in town instead of on Play, £25 seems to be the standard price everywhere, it's only on Steam I've seen it higher.

Plus I'd like a box for this one.

I pre-ordered the fancy edition, which doesn't really go on sale until a few months after the game comes out.

But to answer the question in your title... Oh yes, I truly am. Been counting down the days, stopping random strangers and telling them about it, hanging up all my Fallout Shelter signs... yep, pretty excited.

Assuming it manages to not sell out on launch day (apparently, according to a staff member, GAME is running low on the fancy edition as a company).

I think it's because people were like, "That bobblehead from Fallout 3 is soooo cute! I need one!"

And then they went out to find one and saw people selling them for $50. So now they aren't taking any chances.

Unfortunately for New Vegas, I think it's going to be hard to top the Lunchbox and Bobblehead combo. Poker chips are cool, but I can take my lunchbox to work. :)
