Yeah, yeah, it's still August, but we've had quite a few good movies this year. So, with the biggest movie season behind us, what films do you think will win or at least be nominated?
I think Toy Story 3 is a shoe-in for best animated picture, as well as a hot contender for best score AND, IMHO, best picture. At least nominate it. It was really good.
Inception was pretty good and will probably be nominated for best special effects, score, and maybe picture.
Really, deep down, I want Scott Pilgrim vs. The World somewhere on there. Special effects, score, supporting role, whatever. It's probably not going to happen since it had humor and was not animated, excluding it from even being considered for an oscar. To bad, because it's really good.
