Has anyone tried EA's DD platform Origin yet? My wife is trying to get sims 2 direct downloaded and apparently we need to download it as the package came with just a bonus disc and not an install disc. EA has been prmoting it and i'm wondering if anyone's tried it out and if it's an astonishing mess a la games for windows live, a paragon of excellence a la steam or something in the middle a la that other thing that came out when steam still sucked but has since closed it's doors. I think it was made by stardock.
