Eavesdropping

I eavesdrop all the time. It's the only way I can know what my enemies are planning.

Seriously though, I usually have an ipod with me. I don't want to talk to anyone's ugly mug, let alone listen to them.

Me and some friends of me play some card games in our classroom, when we have some spare time at school. There will always be someone talking too loud. If we have our own discussion, then the others talk as much as they want, but if we are for some reason silent, we will sometimes join in, and sometimes troll them. When I eavesdrop while playing cards, I will often comment with: "It's funny what you can hear when you shut up..."

Half of eavesdropping is paying attention to a conversation, but I wouldn't say the act itself is inheriently malicious by any means. The number of people who feel it is their business to approach me over phone conversations or something personal does disturb me, though.
I don't have a car, so I have to carry my groceries, and this older man came up to me and decided to show me how to carry plastic bags. I wasn't talking about having difficulty with these bags. I wasn't even talking.

That's just not OK.
If a stranger is clearly not being openly social, don't approach them.
