The video makes the game that much more interesting. Here's an inline version for the lazy :)

Wow. That's really cool. Thanks for the link, Tarmanydyn.

Is that the music? I wonder if there's a way to pause and stop to think for a moment or if you figure out a way to get halfway up a structure and just fall if you can't figure the next step out.

They showed this at the Sony press conference [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/74723-E3-2007-Sony-Takes-a-Knee]. It was the coolest thing there. By far.

Oh of course, this is a game that really needs to make it to the public.

On that note, Sony, bar none, had the strongest showing at E3.

The other video was more of a trailer, this video is a little demo of the basic mechanics apparent in the game. But more importantly, it shows the simple level editor, that's right, you can make your own levels. I can only imagine the kind of mind boggling levels people could make.

That's very clever - hopefully they're easily transferable online or through some sort of in-game interface.

I'm not very familiar with the architecture of PSN, but I'm pretty sure it could distribute new levels via that, or whatever method is used to distribute levels in Little Big Planet.

I just saw an article on Destructoid [http://www.destructoid.com/experience-the-mind-bending-fun-of-echochrome-on-your-pc-35520.phtml] with a link to the homepage of the creator of Echochrome, which describes some of the details of the system, and also happens to contain a simple 'level builder' application for demonstration.

http://tserve01.aid.design.kyushu-u.ac.jp/~fujiki/ole_coordinate_system/index.html

It's really quite impressive.
