Alright guys I need some help to decide a topic for my editorial I have to write for history class. Basically what I have to do is take a current event, and give my opinion on it. (In the most basic form.) I am not sure what to do, so this is where you come in. Give me some ideas about the things going on in the world I can write about, preferably some news article links as well. I'm not expecting you guys to do all my work for me, but I do need a bit of help.

Current events? Go to Drudgereport.com and pick a news headline that interest you. Personally I like Obama's Birth Certificate issue. The second is the US/World economy. Both however does take a lot of research and understanding to do a proper editorial.
