I've been playing a lot of guitar lately, mostly using my electric unplugged due to my having misplaced both of my leads.
So today, I went out and bought three lead extensions that would allow me to turn an audio cable [the kind with a headphone jack at each end] into a guitar lead and port the sound from my multi-effects pedal [Zoom 505II] into a pair of headphones.
So far, so good. But when I plug my guitar into the pedal's input, it does not switch on like it's supposed to.
Initially, I thought the device was buggered, but after switching things around, it transpired that the pedal only turned on if I plugged the headphones into the input. Now, this is useless unless I want to apply delay to my listening.
Has this got something to do my impromptu lead, or is there something wrong with the pedal? I've technologically impaired when it comes to things like this, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks =]
