El Shaddai: Ascention of the Megatron
It's the MeTatron - the Voice of God, not the MeGatron - enemy of the Autobots. Although that would be interesting... as he gets close to the end, he gets corrupted by Dark Energon (sure, why not?) and instead becomes a giant robot? lol.

OT: The game looks pretty interesting. Fascinating art style, not too over the top combat, platforming and puzzle sequences...

I'm curious to see just how much of the Book of Enoch is incorporated and how much is added for dramatic/gameplay effect. We all know it can go badly both ways (I'm looking at you, Dante's Inferno).
The Bible needs more robots...

*cough*

Anyway, here is my take. Simply put this looks pretty/interesting and typical/retarded at teh same time. We have oddly dressed waif man with ridiculous weapon fighting quirky sketchbook quality enemies. But hey, ignore me, it is shiny and pretty thus nothing matters.

But fuck it, the Bible needs MOAR Robots. /self halted rant

It looks absolutely amazing. I'd expect nothing less from Okami's lead designer. Plus that Arch weapon reminds me of the Klingons signiture bat'leth.

This game looks like a pretty good argument for "Games as Art", if we need some examples other than everything ever done as a game...but that's for another thread.

While the art looks good and the gameplay interesting, I wouldn't say it's the most "Gorgeous Video Game Ever!", but that's on personal opinion.
Just from sheer quality of graphics, my vote would go towards Grid, F1 2010 or the new Gran Turismo. Those games look photo-realistic, but with a video-gaming imagining so everything has an appealing bloom.

is based on the story told in the Old Testament's Book of Enoch.
What the suffrage is "The Book of Enoch"? Enoch was in the Old Testament for about ten verses.

It looks a lot more like the Book of Elijah.
There would be a lot more murder and fire falling from the skies. Which would be awesome.

Book of Enoch was a Jewish text. Y'know, those books the OT was compiled from selected mangled remnants of? Yeesh. C'mon, people! Culture: Try it sometime!

There were many Levis in the OT.

Now this is cool.
Who says the bible doesn't have Stories that would make great Games?
Bible Adventures I & II on the NES =(
Well considering the time they were released in it makes sense that it wouldn't have been handled very well.
Though i did enjoy the Baby Moses Platforming Level on one of those Games, cant remember which one it was...
