I hope it's more like Morrowind, but with Oblivion's combat and regenerating MP.

AND BRING BACK LEVITATION.

And add in the FO3 Empty indicator. And Speech challenges. Speechcraft was waaaaaaay too easy.

I think they should have a smiliar fighting system.

Where they have a skill sytem that once you use that specific skill it improves the skill.

It should defintely include cyrodil no other place would be appropriate for the 4TH game.

In response to that I think it'll be a lot better than Oblivion; (hard as that may be to achieve) Bethesda clearly learned a lot from their mistakes in Oblivion in making Fallout 3 and the Elder Scrolls 5 can only take this further.

Sorry for the snarky comment. I couldn't resist.
I'm not entirely sure what I would want in Elder Scrolls V. Oblivion in my favorite game, and thus, I feel that it would be pretty hard to improve upon. Perhaps the plot of the main quest could be a bit more fleshed out. Some creative magical weapons would be nice too. (Think on par with the Wabbajack)

As everyone has said, Elderscrolls 4 was oblivion, I want elderscrolls 5 to have better interaction with your environment, so for example, with the dark brotherhood, I want it to have more variety.

As the general response will tell, it'll be poo. I loved Elder Scrolls 3, Oblivion just seemed like a totally different game in some aspects, I do hope the next instalment won't be reminiscent of Oblivion... or Fallout 3 for that matter.

I loved the last two Bethesda games.

If they fix the combat and levelling in TES5 it'll be amazing.

Imagine a VATS style melee and archery system. Awesome.

I hate to be 'that guy,' but I'd be overjoyed if they re-released Morrowind with current-gen graphics and called it The Elder Scrolls V.

That game was awesome.
