11.11.11 has been been on my mind for the past however many months and I can honestly say i have never been excited this much or for this long for a game. I am constantly googling elder scrolls 5 in the hope to find new information. So now just a mere 5 months and 18 days away from release, I am overflowing with excitement over the new concepts and additions to the game. Among these are Radiant AI, finishing moves, perks, new landscapes, new combat system, and of course DRAGONS! However, there are many ideas that I feel would benefit the game, but hey what do i know? lol but I thought it would be interesting to mention what I think the game should include and see what the escapist community felt about it and what you guys think should be included.

So the ideas i feel should be implemented are :-
1. Remove fast travel to anywhere you have visited before, to be replaced by a fast travel system to cities and towns.
2. I read that three dragons attacked Todd Howard, the game director, whilst he was playing a demo, but he felt it was too hard to put in the game and he asked the designer to take it out. I disagree and feel that three dragons, whilst difficult, would be very fun to play
3. For creative magic system, they are part way there with the ability to combine magic spells by equipping different spells to the different hands, but I would like to see more depth for the magic system
4. More creative side-quests, in Oblivion I loved the fun little fun quests to do when you are bored, such as the deadric shrine quests and in Fallout 3 the AntAgonizer and the Mechanist battle in Canterbury Commons made me laugh out loud for minutes on end
5. More guilds with longer quest lines, I thoroughly enjoyed all the Oblivion guilds but i felt the quest lines were far too short

So that is all I have for now, but I would love to hear some feedback from the escapist community :)

I'm really excited for Skyrim too.
I would like there to be some reaction to the type of character you pick. Like if you pick a khajiit people treat you differently than they would a dark elf or suchlike. Perhaps your own race trusts you more or something. If you see what I mean.

I think some sort of reaction to the players character in that way would be cool.

Also if you find a lost tomb or somthing you find some sort of mini quest there almost you know. So it's not just an area to explore and loot it actually has some reason to be there.

Doesn't this happen in Oblivion to some extent? NPCs call your Khajit character "house cat," for instance.

Hmm I've never noticed it myself :/ and I play as a Khajiit most of the time.

if they fire every one of their animators and decide to make a game more like morrowind, it'll be good.

Todd howard seems to like his brainless shooters though.

I want:

1. Fast travel to and from indoor locations. - Please don't make us sit through all those fetch quest loading screens again.

2. No stagger mechanic

Although, compared to a lot of other games, Oblivion featured a lot of customisation, I'd there to be a lot more in Skyrim. Saying that, I hope they keep the afro for Redguards.

This, a thousand times this. Such a damn pain when you're against multiple enemies.

Just make the world big and questy, that's honestly all I'm looking for. It doesn't have to be complicated like Morrowind.

1. Branching narrative. And I don't mean a branch right at the end so it doesn't really matter. Different choices should lead to different quests. This would also add more replayability.

2. No zombies. Because they are gross and I hate them. And they'll probably go overboard with the detail on them.

3. Make the weapons feel more unique, requiring different play styles and skills. Longswords, shortswords, two-handed weapons, and daggers all play pretty much the same way in Oblivion (just with different attack speeds). Kinda boring.

Susan Arendt had an article a few weeks ago on some smaller things she'd like to see. I agreed with all of those.

Oooh i like that idea, i noticed they kinda started it in Oblivion, like calling me a Bosmer because i was a woodelf but i do like the idea of completely different interactions :)
