Electric shock

I have fond memories from my childhood involving outlets and cutlery.
Good times.

But seriously, the worst I ever got was from an electric fence designed to deter cows when I was ten. Myself and my friend were going through our "dumb scientist" stage, and kept doing stupid experiments that would most likely result in pain.

not the most fun at all.

Was when I was younger so I did not know what I wanted to do. Worked at a whole number of jobs for a month or two then went to something else.

Like a hospit, then? I mean, you did'nt educate to become an electrician just to try it for a short time? =P

After being inspired the leonard from the big bang theory, i got together a few pillows, simple mechanical arms and bits of wires lying around the house. I didnt insulate the wires properly so when i gave it a big hug, it hugged me and this wire which wasnt insulated or properly connected touched me and it gave me one hell of a shock. It took awhile to stop too because in the hugging position you can't actually rely on your muscles to jerk away from the shock.

P.S Yeah it's that hugging machine.

I was messing with a disposable camera once and put my finger on that lightning-bolt button area with the panel off. It was kind of like a really violent tingling. That's the worst form of electrocution I've ever experienced. Not as exciting as when I got burned. That's a much more interesting story...

(1) Younger (age forgotten to time) -- Playing with a plugged-in extension cord. I know, I was a dumb little shit back then,
(2) 20 -- Unplugging an extension cord (I should've seen in it) with great difficulty while unknowningly standing in a small puddle of water (even more so), leaked from a steamtable. I guess I am STILL a dumb shit.

First time I remember, I was removing the plug for my Super Nintendo. My fingertip accidentally touched the conductor end of the plug while it was still halfway in, & the shock was so hard I yelled out loud & dropped the plug.

In my old home, the electric water heater could never be properly earthed, & more often than not, touching the faucet would cause little to strong electric vibrations or shocks. If you had a cut & put it in the water running, it would get shocked too! One time I was bored, so I just grabbed hold of the faucet with a hand & held on. It wasn't anything major, no burning, just numbness & vibrations. I'd even go so far to call it STIMULATING! I held on for around 15 minutes, then got bored & looked for something else to do.

The last time I got electrocuted was while I was being tortured by raiders who were robbing my home (true story).

I don't know what a hospit is. Anyway we call it "work experience" its just when someone takes you in for a set amount of time, you do it for free and its just a way of getting a feel for the industry. Also can be a good way to get a job since you have proven yourself already.

Yeah, it's like when you're doing some work you're not really educated (or under the ducation) to do. But just are working there for some amount of time to see how it is.

In my sculptures class I was shocked by the wheel, and we never figured out how it happened.

I had some uninsulated wires (barely the tip like less than 1 mm uninsulated) hanging 10 cm from the ceiling. I am a pretty tall guy and I was pulling another cable with a metal thingy attached to its end. When I lifted it over my head I went "Daadadadadadadadadadadadad" Then stopped. I was like... wtf? My knees were numb and that's about it that I can remember (I didn't pass out or anything. That's just what I remember)

I grabbed hold of an electric fence once, luckily it wasn't high powered (Only really meant to deter sheep.), but you could still definitely feel it. It was like having an uncontrollable, and violent shiver in my right arm, and yet my arm was numb. It didn't hurt during the shock, but it throbbed a bit afterwards.

No a life-threatening thing, by any means.

As a kid I found out about electric fences.

The raw shock was too much, but if I used a long leaf to dampen the shock, it was fun to feel the shocks in perfect, sequenced pulses.

Thought if I did it long enough I'd be able to retain the charge and expel it at will.
