"Elemental" Weapons

On the topic of elemental weapons... it is a known fact that the U.S. military has developed taser rounds. It's also not a far leap to believe that someone can modify these to be just a tiny bit more powerful (humongous understatement) to the point that they could kill. viola! Lightning weapons!

Myself, if it had to be based of a chemical element I'd go with a sword that has a layer of mercury along the blade. (Hey, I never said it'd be realistic!) But if I'm allowed to go more ... strange, then a glove that can freeze things. Or explode directionally like a claymore! Or, or ... I like weaponizing gloves. >.>

I'd rather have a gun that shoots Boron or Hazardous Uranium.

A Tennis Racket that is on fire that sets tennis balls on fire when struck that when the tennis balls hit something they burst into flames as well. Oh wait, that is something in Dead Rising 2.
Something more original, a Minigun that uses Cryo Rounds, or possibly a Shotgun that has Cryo Rounds.

Electricity is not an element. Electricity is the discharge of electrons in a way that scares the crap out of me and my pets.

Fire is not an element. Fire is an excess amount of thermal energy that results in destruction.

I believe he put the word "elemental" in quotes in the title for a reason.

I'd go with a lightning weapon, since in real life it'd be able to burn crap like fire and you could screw up metal stuff.

If we're going with REAL elements, id take any sort of sniper rifle and load it up with time-release cesium or francium rounds. Seriously, watch the Brainiac Alkali Metals video on youtube and you'll see what I mean...

Human body (mostly water) + Cesium/Francium Rounds = The highest of high explosive ^^
