There a way to eliminate a cheat code that has been used in an Xbox 360 game so that achievments can be unlocked? I started playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance and used a cheat code to unlock the costumes. I didn't think I'd be playing it long, but now I want the achievements. So am I screwed and need to retsart after deleting my save game or what?

I don't think you can undo cheats. It seems like game devs way to stick it to you for cheating their game.

Yup I deleted everything that has anything to do with the game....even the damn DLC and it still recognizes the damn cheat. The only reason I'm pissed is that my brother played with me and now he can't get it off his console and now he can't get any achievements on his saved game on his own console on his own friggin profile. That's goddamn brutal...

Yea, you need to be careful with using cheat codes. They definitely screw with your saved game files.

I actually sold Ultimate Aliance for this exact reason.I feared the same thing would happen when playing Saints Row 2, but luckily starting a new profile spared me of losing my achievements.

Nothing but getting them is fun.

Nothin' new though. GTA-SA had that one mission that if you had cheated like 500 or so times before doing it, you almost automatically failed, unless you used like another half a dozen cheats in order to bypass it.

Still better than the actual game deleting your file if you cheat too much. See: Banjo-Kazooie

Or pokemon, but M was a demon... >.>
