You know when that movie came out about something like this. The Box [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0362478/]. It was push the button for lots of money but someone somewhere would die. I never saw, but I had this idea that if I was the guy offering that choice, I would make the pool of people to kill out of the people who pushed the button. (I didn't see the movie, so that could have been the case, but I doubt it)

I guess what I am saying is no I wouldn't and you would be a pretty vile person if you did. Also, I think pretty much everyone has trolled in some way or another at some point.

The thread is somewhat confusing since I thought when you mean eliminate their existence as in their "avatar" self but I guessing you mean the person itself?
As from my response to press the button or not, I wouldn't since you said it would wipe out their existence from the last three years. It would be a temporary effect since new trolls will spawn this year and so on unless the fear of being erase suppose to prevent people from trolling?
Either way I wouldn't press the button regardless since we can assume that particular troll is a low life but in reality that troll could be a businessman or someone unexpected.
