"Haha, PC gamers are st00pid elitists."
Hi, various Escapists. As you probably don't know, I, myself, am a PC gamer. And the above comment seems to be dribbling from the mouths of various console-gamers. No offense meant to them, I know plenty of smart console gamers.
But the afforementioned comment is really starting to piss me off. I'm insulted quite a bit when I mention I'm a PC gamer on gaming forums, and, y'know, it's annoying. When someone says, "I'm a console gamer," I don't barge into their threads and start saying "YOUR OPINION IS INVALID!" Yeah, I know some PC Gamers do that, but we're not all dicks. I consider myself a relatively nice guy, but whenever I am asked what console I use and reply PC, I'm called... well... an elitist.
But, as the title implies, elitists are EVERYWHERE. Consoles, PCs... Macs. I don't see why one particular device should be judged as "Elitist" in particular.
So, I ask of you, various Escapists, if you do; why do you judge a man by his console?
