My question is very simple. Is it possible to embed videos from websites other than youtube on The Escapist? I have never seen it done so I assumed it was impossible, however when I was searching for videos for a thread I found only one website had it. It was not youtube. So I decided to try and got this. . .
However no matter what combo I tried I could not get a video to work.
So I tried google . . . and just now I made it work. Yay.
Though google and youtube are kind of linked now. So I guess I should have expected that.
So I guess the better way to ask my question is, What are the restrictions to linking videos from other websites? Is there a certain way? Is there a thread dedicated to this by any chance. I have already been to the HTTP [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/markup_help.php] help link and through my Web Development & Design Foundations book and found both unhelpful.
Note I am not complaining about not being able to. I just can't find a definitive answer anywhere. The search bar was no help, and neither was google.
