I had posted something like this before based on a few sequences I really liked (as I'm sure others have done so). Didn't feel like Necro'ing old threads.
Recently I finally got off my ass and watched 'Road to Perdition' (ironic I know). And there was a particular sequence/scene that I thought was expertly done...
...the reasons that lead to the confrontation. The history the characters had together. Even the technical direction. Everything about it just plain worked.
Not "quite" as compelling, but still well done, is from the 'Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford'...
...just based solely on the expert performances of all the actors involved.
I would like others to suggest and share emotionally compelling sequences/scenes that just really stuck with you. Movies, TV Shows, whatever works. I'm always looking for well done work.
