Empire Total War

As some of you may know Empire Total War is set to release in March(in America anyway) and it seems once again Creative Assembly is bringing something new to the table, with the new online trailer indicating that there will be a large steam community for Empire; which is good news for all you Game Spy haters. (myself included)

Now the point of this thread is to discuss Empires multiplayer.

To start off it seems to me as if you will get a character who will be your general online. This general will acquire traits as if in campaign mode and thus will be modified to a players style.

P.S. Can someone tell me how to embed pictures?

I'd also like to add that it seems like there will be a multiplayer campaign mode.

This is the first time I'm NOT excited over a Total War game. The setting and musket combat doesn't really appeal to me. I'd probably get it just for collection's sake but a demo would really really be nice... right about now.

Technically, don't they already have a campaign multiplayer for Medieval II in the form of hotseats?

I am hyped over Total War, CA is the only developer up to date that has the right to say that every single one of their games have been top notch. Every single TW game has kept me entertained for hours and I am proud to say that I have claimed enough virtual lives to fill Germany.

Hopefully Empire will be even better and seeing as it has kickass explosions it will be.
