Did you ever have them? Experiances that at least on some levels, you truly believed that MIGHT have been supernatural/otherworldly whatever? I don't say "Believe in the supernatural!", or something. I don't know if I believe it myself, much of what I have seen until today is crap.
But... Sometimes, things happen which leave you wandering. Maybe there is a rational explanation for them. Probably there is, actually.
But would not it be... Interesting, to think about what if it isn't? I mean, maybe the guy who is telling you he can see the future is crazy or a cheater. Maybe the weird lights in the sky are a weather baloon.
But what if they are not?

A few strange experiances of my own:

-Once, at night, walking back home from somewhere, I saw a white man standing in front of the house of an old lady who lives nearby. By "white" I mean very pale skin, white hair, small white beard, wearing a white suit. He just stood there and looked at the house, silent.
I blinked, and he was not there anymore. The old lady died the day after.

-I went to visit someone once, but I got lost one the way to his house. It was very foggy and I didn't know the area. Plus, I have a really bad direction sense. I figured I got lost rather quickly. So I asked someone where I was. Turns out I was in a completely different town from the one I was in the last time I knew where I was. It was not a very close town, too, and I don't remember walking extremely quickly over the fields or on a highway. Just a slow walk through unknown streets.

-I knew for quite sometime a person I was pretty sure was a girl. We spoke one night, completely alone, and very very VERY seriously the (girl?) told me she had a strange secret. She claimed she was neither a boy nor a girl, and that, in fact, she was capble of changing her gender at will. Not with a surgery, not by taking hormones, she isn't genetically hermaphroditic, she said. She just can do it. Now, I never tried to check out her genitals or something, but said girl really did have a very androgynos quality to her. Almost every boy thaugt she was a girl, almost every girl thaught he was a boy, and now that I think of it, s/he him/herself never actually said anything that could be a proof of her ultimate gender.
And she sounded so very completely serious about it. I can usually tell when I am being lied to.

-A couple that were close friends with my grandparants appears to be, well, cursed, for the lack of a better word. They had many children, this couple, and apperantly every time one of their children got married, exactly one month later that child would die. Of an accident, of a disease, murdured, whatever. It happned five times allready. The remaining children are afraid of getting married.

....................................................

Something similiar ever happned to you?
Please do not post here stuff like "LOL none of this is real, fool!". By posting here you kind of like admit that at least to some level you believe that there might be SOMETHING to this all, okay? I admit that the white man might have been a hallucination. I admit that the androgyne might have been lying. It's very possible. I admit the weird so called teleportation thing was probably... Something, I don't know. But for me, it makes the world seem a little bit cooler and more wonderous to think about things this way. You don't have to join my big fantasy here. But don't destroy it. If you don't believe in this shit, just don't bother posting here, okay? Conserve the preacious, preacious calories.

Have fun.

I once punched a zombie in the face. Then his mother came and started yelling and flailing her arms around as the little shit cried.

I miss being 5.

There is no such thing as ghosts. If there was such a thing, I believe we would have found at least one piece of at least somewhat solid evidence by now. It makes no sense, and it's all garbage.

Why can some ghost walk through walls, but they don't fall through the floor?

Why isn't the planet absolutely littered with ghosts? Are you aware at how many people have died on Earth in our human existence? How come most ghosts you hear of are from the Victorian circa 1800s time period? Was it really fashionable to become ghosts then?

I don't see how people believe it.

BUT! They are fun stories and they really do scare me. I don't believe in ghosts, but they still scare me. I remember being a child and seeing my door open by itself, and a man walk in during the night. That's the only personal event that happened to me. I am aware it didn't really happen though.

No. I will not let this 'disclaimer' go unchallenged. It's not for you to decide what the poster believes just because they posted in your thread.

Anyway, generally it seems the only people who have experiences are people who already believe in that sort of garbage. I'm a very strict non-believer, usually these sort of 'experiences' boil down to one of two explanations;
It can be normally explained. OR
You lied/hallucinated/got confused over what you saw and misinterpreted it.
Of course, I'm not going to pigeon-hole every 'experience' ever experienced into those two categories, but it pretty much covers a majority I think.

No, I haven't had an experience, the rest of my family buy into that shit, go on ghost hunts, watch every related TV show, go see mediums, and talk about what they've 'experienced' but not me. My dad even considered starting up his own ghost hunting group, the idea fizzled when I told him with a very straight face that I would change my surname to avoid the shame if he did it.

That's the spirit of the thing. You don't have to believe. Think of it as "strange and creepy coincidences", okay? I am not telling you to go on ghost hunts.
And I really fail to understand why you were offended by my request from people to not troll this thread, but I am sure you have a very good explanation and that you are quite eager to write it down.

You know on those goofy shows usually entitled "Ghost Chases" or "Ghost Hunter" or "Total Protonic Reversal Super Funtime Squad", where they would be in a totally dark room and see little flickers of light zipping about the place? Weird little orbs?

Well I came back into my room at about 1:00 in the morning after getting up for a drink and saw what I think must have been two of them darting back and forth like they were pinballing off my walls. They would appear and dissapear ever few seconds, so I turned the light on and didnt see them again since then.

But as a gamer, my eyes are pretty much buggered from looking at screens for the better part of the last decade, and the fact that I had just gotten up and looked into the fridge after being in pitch darkness probably didnt help, but they were very clear and kind of weirded me out a bit.

I also used to have a cool godzilla toy about a foot high. But its batteries had LONG since died. Then one night as I'm trying to get to sleep, it let off a shrill, distorted roar for absolutely no apparant reason.

I also have deja'vu all. The bloody. Time. Either I can see the future or I'm the most forgetful guy in the world.

Just to clarify, I think John Edwards is the biggest douche in the universe, and all working pshycics are either cold-readers or massive liars.

I completely agree with you on this one. I really like magicians who ADMIT they are fooling you with psychology, sleight of hand, and cool tricks. But those Uri Geller guys who actually try to convince you of their superpowers... I don't like them very much. It's a bit pushy. If someone does not believe in your icredible telekinsis, don't sue them. Just... leave them be, or something.

I've seen a few things here and there but I usually dismiss it as my imagination or just something else like a cat jumping across the room.

But the other day I was getting up from my bed to use the bathroom and when I got to the door, the remote that I had left on the night stand smashed against the wall next to me like someone threw it. I was terrified and I ran.

What else could that be besides a ghost?
