I have heard she gets retarded hard if you hit max level but with Squall Rinoa and Zell (I think) on 99 with metric fucktons of all the best junction spells I made her and Cerberus into my little emo bitches first try, but that is because I have the patience of a saint and will literally draw for an hour to get all the best junctions!
i did beat her in the first attempt, and thats the team i used. i thought zells limit break wasnt that good, i used him out of favouritism. why did you use him?
oh yeah, and 100 ultimas on defence means you absorb any elements and turn loads of damage into bits of damage
by the end i had about 2 GFs left, cos she kept insta-killing. ifrit lasted ages, hitting about 6000 each time. but aura on squall and rinoa gives you the 9999 x16, which is the way to go
I would have to say, Dullahan from Golden Sun. He's not actually the end game boss, he's the boss that if you beat, you can defeat the end game boss in two seconds. I had all of my characters to level 99 and I STILL had a tough time killing him. It took me like 3 weeks of constant battling to kill him the first time, but it was worth it. Well, maybe not.

If you are referring to his lvl100 form, then he's not that difficult. I actually found that he hit the perfect balanced of fun and difficulty when it came to bosses; especially fighting game bosses. Although there are times when he likes to bullshit you with Shinryuu.
Now lvl 130-150 Chaos is a WHOLE LOT different. He will fuck you up in a single hit if you're not careful, and he loves to spam divine punishment. He's a total nightmare and will just bullshit hi way to victory on those levels. Fucker always casts divine punishment on me just as I have an opening to attack....
Dude....that ain't 130, that's 110. level 130-150 fights can only be done in the black jack course in duel Colosseum. So I'm guessing you are referring to the shade impulse story mode, he's pretty tough yea, but fuck if you are suffering with that then wait till you fight level 120-150 enemies in duel Colosseum.
You need not tutor me on game strategies (logged 600 hours of play time), and EX guarding that attack is really really risky and stupid. It's not difficult to dodge, it's just when I fight him, sometimes he pretty much spams the attack over and over and so your nerves get the better of you.
I'm speechless. Final Bosses are PART of a video game....one of the most important parts!!!!!!!! They even tie the story together, it gives you closure! bah.
Honestly...Not a single boss really pops to my mind, I suppose Deidara from Naruto Revolution 3 in the last battle of the story mode was just..Unfair..Took me quite a while to beat him.
But really, bosses are never really "Hard". There's always a way to beat them and once you figure that out it's never that hard.
And in RPG's cases, just go and level up a few times and come back.

OT: i struggled with RAAM but beyond that I have an alarming tendency to not finish games so not all that many I can think of

I only finished it last week actually. I got up to disk 3 twice before but got stuck in the Lunatic Pandora unable to level up die to the tiny experience from the monsters in that area.
Strangely, I've got ONE character with whom I've never lost against him. And with whom I've fought and beaten him several times. The reason this is strange is that it's Anna. Who I'm otherwise pretty bad with, and who I'm told is mid-tier at best.
Other than that though...
Going for the Dark Side ending of Force Unleashed on the harder difficulties is pretty brutal as well. Even fully levelled.
I'm tempted to say Mirror's Edge, but that requires even more sarcasm than Fable 2.
RAAM was by far the hardest boss i have ever faced. I played him for about an hour on hardcore and then said fuck it and killed him on casual. Even then he put up a decent fight.
Hear hear, in fact I loathe that bastard for his great difficulty.
Once he even managed to kill both me and my friend from beyond the grave because we were playing Co-op and I was 'downed' so my friend had to finish him off with a final shot with the Torque bow. Right as he did though he too was downed by the last shot from Raam. So Raam dies and the game goes into the final cinematic and then suddenly STOPS and puts the 'objective failed' screen up and left us mentally scarred.
Truly a boss that can kill you even in the final cinematic depicting his death is one that can only have been born of the bowels of Hell.

Hide at the first chest high wall, wait for krill to fly out and active snipe his face; rinse and repeat. Seriously how do people have such trouble with him when it takes a few head shots with the sniper to kill him. The krill have a range and they can't hurt you from the first barrier.
Are people just trying to run up the the guy and shot gun him? because that's the only way i can see people getting killed by that pylon.
The final boss fight in the story mode of Custom Robo. God damn that boss was pure evil. High attack, fast speed, practically NO downtime... ugh. My gamecube almost went out my window into my pool...
Hardest boss ever for me was Baal in diablo 2 on hell with hardcore on. So i had beat the game twice without dying with one character. Then i get to the end fight this f**ker and he rapes me. So game over i gotta go make a new character i eventually did it on my second try but ended up dying soon after on a repeat run -_-
The only thing i can think of at the moment are the first two paper mario game bosses. man, they were hard. I mean yeah i beat them, but it took some time.
Oh yeah, chaos from dissidia. Man, stupid flying punch thing got me everytime in his third form. Took him out eventually.
