ever feel sad when somthing ends? ever put off getting to the ending?

I think I'm probably going to cry when mass effect 3 ends, I also put off completley finishing fallout 3 because I had been playing on and off for so long

sometimes I think thats the problem with games that let oyu keep going after you "finish" them

The ending of Persona 3 crushed my soul a bit. I tried to put it off, but I just couldn't.

Also made me feel like I needed to be a better person. So I guess it's more a double edged sword than just sadness that it's over.

I love the ending. The ending of games is what i play them for. It makes me feel happy to find out how everything turned out.

I used to be like this with Final Fantasy games when I was young. I think I watched my cousin finish them, because I didn't want my save files to be over. And I finished every quest I knew about in Oblivion before finishing the main story. Same goes for Fallout 3.

A bit, yes. Especially when the ending is sad and your favorite character doesn't get a happy ending. Sometimes, however, the endings can be very satisfying. After playing for so long, it is nice to know that you accomplished something. To bad you'll most likely never experience anything new in that world ever again... Unless it is a Bethesda or Bioware game, in which case you can probably look forward to DLC.

weird, i dont ever feel that way. the only reason i'd ever put off a final boss fight is because they kick my ass so hardcore i'm just sick of it and stop playing for 3 months. then i come back and beat it.

The Longest Journey

I didn't want the game to end, and certainly not like *THAT*, my god, what a depressing and melancholy ending. After everything the main character had been through, after all those zany adventures and quirky characters met along the way, to then see everything just fall apart for the protagonist, bit by bit, till she's left pretty much alone with nowhere to go and nowhere to turn... heartbreaking.

Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhall

Unlike the above this was a happy ending. It's just also the ending to one of the longest, most dramatic and enthralling rpg experience out there, so when it finally comes to a definitive close with Throne of Bhall, it was like saying goodbye to a friend. You knew it was coming and that things had to end eventually, but that didn't make it any easier.

I cried at the end of Okami. 90% because of the game itself (seriously, best pre-final boss cutscene ever) and 10% "I don't want this game to eeennnd! QAQ"
