EndWar without Live/online

I've been thinking about getting EndWar when its finally releases in the UK (in accordance with the voodoo calanders of international releases). But I watched the IGN video review and they pretty much boil down to 'Basic singleplayer game, great online'.

Now, I have an XBox but not XBox live. Now, I can get Xbox live Silver (the free version) but I'm not keen on getting Gold.

Is it worth getting EndWar without it? Or should I wait and see if they'll ever release it on PC?

Apparently the single player is very good and the controls and voice control are very intuitive, Id get it mate! Joe

If you really like fast paced RTS games that don't force you to build a base or collect resources, then I would say it is worth it.
As for the single player, I was never a fan of any single player on any RTS game so I can't really say.

Endwar is amazing.
You can never get bored of the single player, as theres so many things you can do differently.
Different factions,
different divisions,
different difficulties,
different battles.
