I don't know about Battlefield 3. The graphics look nice, but that's all I really took from it. It's just one long cinema that tells me nothing about the game, so I have not been impressed. It looks like another military shooter that tries to compete with Call of Duty. I love FPS as much as the next guy, but until I am shown something new and refreshing that isn't just better graphics, I will pass.

This game does look rather generic though, I didn't expect much difference from other games.
Honestly, I'd be shocked if anyone expected anything different from a modern shooter. Its like saying CoD 1-3 were all hugely different from the MoH games...They weren't. Similar guns, similar maps. Even these newer games are just like Black which came out on the ps2.
But I did love Battlefield 2 for the ability to swap to any AI you could see

Funnily enough, knowing military terms and how to apply them is very tricky and takes a fast mind to comprehend, ironically being the opposite of retarded.

OT: Well. It certainly looks pretty.
Gameplay looks fun.
But that can basically be said for the last 4 Battlefield games. The console ports controls literally destroyed the game. Will this hold up or are we gonna see an unplayable brilliant shooter?
At no point have the word taliban or any danger words been used to my knowledge. Not every guy in the military is the "the Cole-train" hence why don't all talk like they have brain damage and those that do are told to shut their fucking mouths in the field because at no point is chatter helpful when you could be in enemy sights.Tdc2182 said:
