We are all familiar to the standard "Enter your age here" hoop that we all have to jump through to see certain stuff on this fine internets. I would like to know how often you type your actual age into these things? Do you tell the truth? Do you lie because you find it funny? Do you lie because you are not actually old enough to watch the pronz that the net offers? Do tell.

I used to lie about my age to watch it. Mainly porn videos (come on, we've all done it.) I sometimes type my actual age, but most of the time I can't be assed and just do it as quickly as I can.

I'll have to admit that I've watched gory, erotic or horrific movies at ages they were not meant for. The 'Insert Age Here' thingie never stopped me from watching 18+ content.

I use my actual birthdate, unless it's a video about a game I'm interested that for some reason says I can't watch even though it's a 15, you need to be 18 to watch.

Since it counts as a signature, I enter my real DoB and age.

I just don't feel right doing it another way.

I started this thread after enter my age as April 1 1901. I'm actually nineteen. I was kind of wondering if anyone had specific dates they would enter for any reason.

Basically this, its not that I'm not of age, its just much easier to enter a completely random age, which usually results in my birth year being a long time ago.

I often lie on age verification "things" simply because if they have january and the number "one" already chosen all i have to do is pick a year. Laziness aside, i also often find myself bumping my age up one year simply out of habit of lying about it to people who work in liquor stores.

Well most of those videos seem to rely on honesty, and exposing honesty to the internet is like putting an injured deer in a lion pen then politely asking the lions not to tear it to peices and eat it.

So, natrually, I just lie about my age to get around it but as im mostly desensitised to videogame violence (Thank you Dead Space) I just put in the quickest possible one that will let me in.

Whats quite funny is that some of theese videos have year slots that go back to the 40's as if a 70 year old man is going to do anything on the internet other than online bingo.
