So, I just came up with this little game while trying to fall asleep... here's the idea - each person post's a basic, single-sentence and basic story.
The person below them then turns that tale into something epic-sounding!
example:
I jumped into the air and landed on the ground
Turned into...:
And thus, great Simalacrum leapt forth towards the heavens, his towering might souring in the air - it seemed as though gravity would not be able to stop such a mighty creature, but alas, even Simalacrum was unable to defeat the laws of physics; he fell back towards the earth as if he were Icarus, his wings burned by the sun.
Rules:
Don't add anything to the epic version of the story - do not add new events to try and spice up the story! Work with what you have been given and nothing else. However...
Don't make the original story too sparse - don't give other people too hard a time! Trying to make "I walked" into something epic can be a little difficult. Add bits to the story that people can work on, such as "I walked and found a tree".
