Epic Mickey "Could Happen" for the 360 and PS3

I see his reasoning. Micky Mouse doesn't exactly scream "HARRDC0R3Z!!1!!!1!11", which seems to be a requirement if you want to be on the HD platforms. And besides, most people who own a Wii are little kids and their mothers. It's a perfect fit that's guarantee to sell thousands even if the game turns out to be bad.

Nope. As far as I'm concerned they can keep it on Wii because that means I won't have to see ads for it all over my 360 dashboard or get e-mails from Sony about where to preorder it. And I can still safely play me Wii without having to see it either because Nintendo doesn't really have the means to harass me when I turn the console on. Only benefit of their archaic friend code online system I suppose.

I don't know, as much as I'm a big supporter of all consoles getting all games... this is being designed from the ground up for the Wii. Taking everything from its controller to its graphical power into consideration.

Anything on the PS3 or 360 runs the risk of being a crappy port. Though the game might sell better, it seems tough to market to the stereotypical PS3/360 crowd. Yeah almost everybody here has an interest in it, but the dumb ass frat boys that makes up most of the 360 and PS3's online crowd... I can't see them being real big on it.

My interest in this game sort of went down hill with the "no more 'Mean Mickey'" article. That right there shows that the character personality and presumably the content was being altered from the creator's original vision in a fairly substantial way, which makes me worried about the quality of the franchise.

Besides which "Doctor Specter" needs to get back to teaming up with Richard Garriot. >

Don't port this game, Mr. Spector. The Wii deserves good, exclusives that aren't always made by Nintendo.

I think this game will be good, though I don't plan on getting it immediately upon release. Too many games on my list to add another to my list. Sorry.

The fact that it could be ported easily, and that it's unlikely to due to developer stinginess and the demand for Wii exclusives, to me reveals the iniquity of the Wii as a poor excuse for a console. I mean, it sounds like it 'needs' this game to live, which it probably doesn't in a casual sense, but it's not exactly going to entice the millions of dust covered, decrepit Wiis gamers bought and subsequently threw out 2 years ago.
