Just about anything by Tool, and of course Octavarium by Dream Theater. Also, the Odyssey by Symphony X is a great song.

Pretty much anything by nine inch nails, especially survivalism

or these two.
One good reason by Celldweller or Prelude by Stemage

Here's my (rather long) list of songs I think are epic. I know some of these have been mentioned before, but here goes:

"Ode To Joy" - Beethoven
"The Beginning is the End is the Beginning", "The End is the Beginning is the End" - Smashing Pumpkins
"Back in the Day" - Megadeth
"Frontline" - Pillar
"The Show Must Go On" - Queen
"The Will of One", "Vengeance", "The Stand (Man or Machine)" - The Protomen
Thriller" - Michael Jackson
"Fly from the Inside" - Shinedown
"See Who I Am", "What Have You Done" - Within Temptation
"Through the Fire and Flames" - DragonForce
"What I've Done", "No More Sorrow" - Linkin Park
"Welcome to the Black Parade" - My Chemical Romance

...What? Don't look at me like that!

And if anyone doesn't know what any of these songs are, just ask. I'm more than happy to tell you about them.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I almost forgot- "Defying Gravity" from the musical Wicked. Enough said.

Innuendo - Queen

It has all genres of music in it, latin, folk, metal, rock, soft rock and everything inbetween
This, my favourite Queen song, and the definition of epic.

Bon Jovi - It's my Life
TOOL - Vicarious
Foo Fighters - The Pretender
I agree with you on the Tool! Though I would personally pick Jambi as the best song off 10,000 Days.

People who saw the movie the first time round know what mean

Actually the entire soundtrack could be here.

Birdland by Weather Report.
Watermelon Man by Herbie Hancock (who was fortunate enough to have two incredibly-well-selling movies in his name).

Seeing as Ludwig Von Beethovens 9th symphony in D Minor and The Final Countdown by Europe were already mentioned I'll go with Battle On The Ice.

Hermonds Ride to Hel- Amon Amarth
Endzeit- Heavan Shall Burn

Both make me want to fight for some reason.
