EPOC Headset

I'm not sure if there's a thread for this at all yet, but I'll make one anyway.
Emotiv is creating a headset known as EPOC that measures the electrical activity of your brain and so simply by thinking, this headset uses your brains activity as a controller for a games.
I think this technology could be really cool if they get it to work properly, but it could be a complete flop; a gimmick like the Wii.

I had heard about this a while back, but that it really just responds to moods and brain activity more than thoughts.

Well, it is a good money-making "gimmick" in the very least.
I am being finnicky here, just picking out one of your thoughts, but I do think that this EPOC device is too preliminary to be used in the near future. Wouldn't be suprised if it wasn't heard from for another few years.
