Look, I'm just trying to play Legend of Legia (and FFVII and VIII) on my netbook. I've already downloaded the LoL rom, but it won't let me play it on the account of render-texture extention being unavalible and no pixel format being avalible either. Then it crashes on me. Can someone help me?

By the way, it's PeteOpenGL2, if that helps.

First thoughts that come to mind is the video card being incompatible with the drivers. I'll look more into this though. Also, could I get a model and make?

It's difficult to assist you when I have no idea with what I'm dealing with. However, I can give you some tips.

Try disabling some shaders and texture enhancements firstly. If that doesn't work, try adjusting the RAM or memory. If that fails, then try out different video plug-ins. It's been years since I've handled a PSX emulator, so I can't pinpoint the problem exactly.

Onboard then I'm guessing.

First off, can you configure the plugins settings? If so, switch the Internal Y and X resolutions to high or low. Don't use the last options as they require a video card. Untick screen filtering if it's ticked, if your using Windows XP tick the box "GF4/WinXP crash fix", untick "Use Pixel Shader for 'PSX Texture Window' emulation", Change Texture Filtering to 0, and Hi-Res Textures to 0.
Did all of that, still not working. I set everything to minimum and I am using vista.

Edit: Still not working

Yeah. Well, netbooks aren't known for their power, and emu's can be pretty hard to run.

They are if you own both the game and the console.

No? Mmm... well, in any case emulation of the old PS one is absolutely right. I mean, it is hard only to find and buy one, today. And the game are nearly impossible to find... Absolutely absent from a gamestop. Where should I find it?

So, it's not like I'm stealing at the company, as these products are no more made...

hmmm touche

At least until the Xperia Play starts playing PS1 games, not to mention the PSP's still around.

Whatever! I'm all for emulation to! Use it as benchmarks for phones and other homebrew. ;D
