Simply put, thinking that being a 'nice guy' means treating every woman you come across like they're some kind of damsel in distress, who can't look after themselves and needs you as both physical and emotional support. Something which is now considered just as misogynistic and arrogant as the 'caveman' approach to women, only with a dose of patronizing thrown in as well.

Anyone remember how this entire saga got started?

Spoiler: Hard to believe what's been a couple months for us has just been one night for Erin

It all started with Erin going to what's-his-face's house because he bought Mass Effect 3 for his XBox rather than the PC, thus meaning that Erin had no one to play with.

Now here she is at a bar getting wasted, offering to put out, and now apparently ready to punch someone's face in (my bet is because he turned her down ).

No, she's going to go punch someone else to try to get the guy to come to her rescue and then have crazy drunk sex with her. It's still a terrible idea, but she's hammered, so you can't exactly expect a lot of good ideas.
