Errm...wrong franchise!

While at work today I was in the staff room and we got talking about cake.
One of my colleague said they had a novelty cake made for someone called Andy. Her words were:

"It was a cake of the Millennium Falcon and had Andy as Captain Kirk."

Didn't point out it was the wrong franchise but giggled a little to myself. Anyone else had that sort of thing happen?

Oh i believe you, but i was just saying, that could have been on that show... and i too love that show, the wife and i bought the first 4 seasons on dvd...guess what we're gonna gonna do this weekend

I was reading some things that Notch had done and I had to giggle. A girl asked me what was I reading that was so funny, so I had to simplify the answer to "Well, there is this guy Notch that said something funny on Twitter. And Notch...well, he created the game Minecraft" I didn't expect her to know what Minecraft is but I just wanted to make it clear that Notch was a game dev and maybe she could see that Minecraft was big. I was surprised when she said that she knew Minecraft...well, she was confusing it with World of Wacraft because she thought Minecraft had been around for a lo-o-ng time and you had to pay monthly fees for it.

I once saw a picture of Captain Kirk with that caption and I laughed. Obviously a joke, but humorous non the less. If anyone finds it feel free to post it again...
OT: No real problems, but I hang around and talk to nerds, so we're all ok at this kind of thing.

My Dad somehow managed to get mixed up between Nintendo and the Flipendo spell from the Harry Potter games. No, I have no idea, either. It was even more hilarious when it got mixed in with his annoying habit of referring to my Game Boy as a 'Nintendo'.
