Where do you two get the idea that bob's grovelling/pot-shots belong to a particular side of the political spectrum?
Considering that Bob's American, the fluctuation would only be from far right to centrist-right... If you bring in political history or contemporary continental politics then even the things that you seemingly feel puts him at "extreme left" would at best quality as centrist-left.
