it's a darn shame. i really want kristen stewart to do well. Mostly because i really liked zathura. like more than jumanji, the movie it was a semi-sequel to. She's getting a lot of hate now for playing bella, and i feel bob's prediction back in the new moon review that that role is going to be a big "don't take me seriosly sign" for a long time. To be fair she isn'ta bad actress but i think the roles she's getting are really working against her. She plays bella really well, it's just that bella (and twilight as a whole) lack anything resembling a soul or emotion (somewhat ironic).

ANYWAY, sad that bad movie is bad. Hope for better in the future.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. I REALLY wish they could have gotten Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss in the Hunger Games) to be Snow White. IMO, she's got the right look for the character, she's quite lovely, is a fantastic actress, and can obviously handle action scenes. I would have been in the theater in seconds for that.

She's too pretty. I think the point was the queen is beautiful on the outside but ugly on the inside. Snow white while less attractive, is still alright looking, but more importantly she is "fairest in the land" on the inside.

Having snow white be as pretty as the queen would turn the movie and fairy tale into a glorified beauty contest...and wheres the moral in that? ;-)

I just finished watching the movie and found it to be quite good.I've never watched or read twilight and never intend to, but I feel people are looking for any relation to that crap as a reason to shun a movie.

I was getting worried about it going downhill with a love triangle when the childhood friend came in to the picture, but honestly it wasn't an issue.It was there a little,but it wasn't focused on and it did not have any influence on the plot.

As for motivation, lets see..the Queen-
Killed her father
Kept her prisoner for ?? Years
Stole her spot as queen
Destroyed her kingdom
got her little dwarfy friend killed
Attacks her everywhere she goes
WANTS TO RIP OUT HER HEART
