Escapecraft, is it worth joining.

Were all....almost all minecraft players here and I love the escapist, so when i found out the escapist had its own minecraft server i was stoked. It looked awesome from the Escapecraft videos, tones of building and it seems very organized and well put together.

BUT, I am already part of a minecraft server that is well put together has excellent mods, and we have our share of build challenges and adventures. So my question is this( to those who are apart of Escapia) What does Escapecraft bring to the table.

Sure it has stargates to separate creative and survival but the Server i hang out in has weekly/monthly themed build challenges that calls all of us in the server together to make many AWESEOME things. Is their that level of interaction in Escapecraft or is its something mere mortal words can't describe. I am really interested to know before diving head first into a new server.

You get banned for anything on the Escapist server, don't join it.

No, you only get banned if you deserve it, if you truthfully said why you got banned I guarantee there was good reason for it, the server is great, has portals to different worlds that feature every part of minecraft, crazy worlds, creative, normal, pvp, puzzle maps, etc, and the mods are always friendly and helpful, but as far as your giant building get togethers, they don't have that, but would probably look into it if you suggested it

Edit: we are still building the entire Imperial City from Oblivion on an approximate 1:1 scale, as well as a few other huge builds in progress, that you could probably join, the Imp city one is a for sure join, the others are privately owned

Too big for me. I have three servers I play with different groups of friends, and I like starting communities together more than being part of a workforce.

I got on it, looked around, realized that there is no room for anything I would want to do, and getting some terrible lag decided that I would rather play on a low pop server or on my own.

Its cool an all, but mainly to look around and what other people have done.
