After a few years of jealousy over Escapism UK and not being able to get there I have decided to start an Escapism right here in america. I have decided to do it since no one else seems to have taken on this challenge. I cannot do this on my own though so if you are willing to help me plan something or help with research that would be awesome.
Now I know that the USA is too big for everyone to attend one event so I will try to get one on each coast started. I will be in charge of the East coast event but I also need someone to help plan the west coast event so any interest can be PM'd to me, posted in this thread or posted in the user group that will be linked at the bottom of this post.
I will now take this time to go over some things, make sure to read them over before declaring your interest.
1: There will be an age limit of 15 unless you can get your parent's permission. I am putting the age limit in place because I expect most of the people going will be college students and as such I don't know how comfortable your parents would be with us.
2: There will be a limited number of spots and I will give spots out on a first come first serve basis.
3: You will hsve to find transportation there yourself. You can find someone that you can travel with but you will be responsible with how you work that out.
4: If you are 21 or over at the time of the event you are free to go to a bar but no one under 21 will be able to go into a bar because that will be against the law here.
5: This will be open to all, not just people who live in the USA. So if you live in canada or want to come over from europe go right ahead we will not turn you down.
That should be it I may add some things in the future but this should be good for now. If you are interested or have any questions they can be relayed to me and I will answer them ASAP.
