So any Escapists in Western Canada/The North Western US interested in possibly organizing a meetup this summer in Vancouver?

I say Vancouver because...

a) Canadian Escapists will have trouble affording the trip to the US, what with our suddenly shitty dollar and all.
b) Vancouver is a nice city.
c) The self proclaimed most famous member of the Escapist Larenxis lives there, as do several other Escapists.

I myself live in Calgary and could easily make it to Vancouver given a few days of head start, any thoughts on this?

Hrm... That certainly would be easier to get to than Sydney. I'm in Minnesota, so I might be able to make it.

I would come, if I could afford a plane ticket. Also, it'd be a little awkward for a 13 year old to show up.

We'll need some Vancouverites to concur on this...

I don't know the city very well so I'd have trouble planning this thing all by myself.

Assuming I can drudge up the money, patience, and time, you have no idea how up for this I will be. Man. I need to save money for college, 'Couver meet-up, Sydney meet-up, and any potential future US meet-up as well. Man, you guys are money sinks. I thought forums were supposed to be free...

If we work overtime, we might be able to unveil our awesome RPG at said meet-up!
...
But probably not.

I'll only appear if I get my usual $10,000 appearance fee, a bowl of brown (and only brown) M&M's, 16 bottles of Evian water and a copy of the Washington Post delivered to my room each morning by a supermodel on a rotation basis.

Umm, what I meant to say is that I have no money, so I probably can't afford a minimum $5,000 sojourn.

I will get you said m&ms, but i may need a can of mace to dispose of the tiger. the shopkeeper and his son, well that will be a different story. I will have to beat them to death with their own shoes

My money is tied up for a long time, and Vancouver is far away from the east coast. I was hoping we could do something at the Olympics, but even that is beginning to look fuzzy.

Sweet, I'm almost on the complete other side of the country! I was so worried that anybody here would know my true identity.

Well Vancouver is rather far from South Carolina, and seeing as how its over 500 bucks to fly just to Alabama I might have to sit this one out. I really would love to go though

I'll be on the wrong corner of the US, otherwise I'd definitely be going.

This is one of the reasons why I hate living in Ontario, so far away from the action...
